Sevier County Fair Coming Up!

Everyone loves a fair!

Who doesn’t love an old fashioned county fair with all the fixin’s — carnival rides, animal barns and plenty of good ole junk food. Well, if you’re in the Smoky Mountain area over Labor Day, stop by the Sevier County Fair. It looks like quite a party.

The fair takes place from Monday, Sept. 6 though Sat., Sept. 11 at 754 Old Knoxville Hwy. in Sevierville.

One thing this fair offers is beauty pageants galore! On Monday at 6 p.m., there is a tiny miss, little miss and teen miss pageant. On Tuesday, come back for more at 6 p.m. to see the baby, petite miss and the pre-teen. Seems to be a category for everyone!

Other events not to miss:

  • Petting zoo, located next to the Red Barn (offered all week)
  • Midway Mascot Parade, on the midway (Monday, 5:15 p.m.)
  • Turtle Race, located next to the Red Barn (Tuesday, 5:45 p.m.)
  • Talent Contest, in the Red Barn Theater (Tuesday, 6 p.m.)
  • Modified lawnmower races, arena (Wednesday, 5:30 p.m.)
  • Kids Dance Showcase, center stage (Thursday, 5:30 p.m.)
  • NOJOE’s Clown Circus, arena (Thursday, 6 and 7 p.m.)

These things can get expensive by the time you add up entry ($5 for adults; kids free), plus food and rides. Click here for a $3 discount for the unlimited ride wristband. Also, special days means special discounts. Included:
