The Digital Journal said this about Dillsboro Chocolate:
The original Dillsboro Chocolate Factory has been a favorite stop for visitors to the North Carolina side of the Great Smoky Mountains since 1998. Located in the quaint mountain town of Dillsboro, the Chocolate Factory is just about 15 minutes south of Cherokee on US 441.
Dillsboro Chocolate features fudge, chocolates, truffles, shooters (what is it? a ganache filling inside a chocolate cup. yum.), coffee beans, gift baskets, and other candy. They have a complete line of truffles named after Smoky Mountain favorites, like Black Bear — dark chocolate, of course! Cades Cove Truffle is peanut butter and chocolate. Cold Mountain truffle is peppermint!
This is the second location for Dillsboro Chocolate Factory. This original location is on the North Carolina side of the Smokies, close to Cherokee.
Welcome to Pigeon Forge, Dillsboro Chocolate Factory!
