Voters in Pigeon Forge affirmed their desire to allow restaurants to sell liquor by the drink in last week’s special vote, according to The Tennessean.
This time the vote wasn’t close — approval of liquor by the drink won by a margin of 154 votes.
From The Tennessean:
The Mountain Press reported Ken Maples, who led the pro-liquor initiative, said the election Thursday validated the choice voters initially made on Nov. 6.
Results of that referendum were thrown out by a court over confusion about who was allowed to vote.
